2018 Spirit of Courage Celebrity Weekend Coming Soon

Jennie Edmundson Foundation (jehfoundation.org) is in full swing preparing for the Methodist Jennie Edmundson Cancer Center – Spirit of Courage fundraiser the weekend of August 3-5. This event raises funds for the MJE Cancer Center Charitable Patient Care Fund. Money raised provides much-needed financial assistance to cancer patients who are underinsured or not insured.

Each year four amazing individuals are honored for their strength, courage, and determination in their fight against cancer. This year’s recipients are: Erin Berkley, Jose Hernandez, Joan Minikus, and Glen Mitchell. Each will share their inspiring story.  Also joining to share their support in the fight against cancer are local and national sports and television celebrities who add a little excitement and humor to the event!

Mark your calendar! August 3 – Harrah’s Stir Cove Concert (receiving $1 per ticket sold); August 4 – Shotgun Scramble Golf Tournament (SOLD OUT); August 4 – Dinner, Auction and 2018 Spirit of Courage recipients presentations; August 5 – Texas Hold’em Poker Tournament – Mid-America Center.
