All About Omaha (AAO) will host the 2013 Torchlight Ball on April 27th at the UNMC Truhlsen Events Center, 619 S. 42nd Street, with proceeds benefiting D.R.E.A.M.  Dedicated to making a difference for at-risk youth, D.R.E.A.M. will use Torchlight Ball proceeds to expand mentoring and afterschool programming.  The Torchlight Ball will begin at 6:00 pm with cocktails, followed by dinner and dancing.  The evening will celebrate the theme, Once Upon a Dream, with a silent auction and live entertainment.  Tickets are $50 for AAO members and $70 for non-members. Corporate sponsorship opportunities are available with different levels ranging from $1,000 to $5,000.

AAO is a non-profit organization for young professionals engaged in Omaha’s culture from social events to community involvement while working to help define the city into the metropolitan, growing community that Omaha is becoming.  The name Torchlight Ball conveys the idea of “passing the torch” of charitable giving and services to a new generation eager to make a difference in the Omaha community. Since its inception, AAO’s Torchlight Ball has raised more than $110,000 for local non-profit organizations.
