100 Black Men of Omaha will host its 8th Annual Men of Honor Gala and Recognition Dinner on Saturday, May 4 at 6 pm at the Hilton Omaha, 1001 Cass Street. This annual awards dinner provides an opportunity for the organization to honor and say thank you to individuals who are a living demonstration of the 100’s mission, and members as well as the Omaha community are welcome to attend. The 2013 Men of Honor Awards will be presented to Frank Hayes, President and Managing Partner, Hayes &Associates and Steven S. Martin, President and CEO, Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Nebraska.
The 100 Black Men of Omaha, Inc. was established in 1995, and is one of over 110 chapters nationally and internationally that make up this alliance of leading African-American men from a myriad of professions including community leaders, business executives, physicians, attorneys, entrepreneurs, elected officials and educators volunteering their time to better the community.
