Former Nomad Lounge owners Nick and Brook Hudson announced that the lounge will now be under the ownership of Troy Shaw. Troy Shaw has a background in finance and has assembled a team with an extensive background in bar management, including Kyle Gish, son of a well-known bar owning family that has established a number of high-profile venues such as Prestige, Ryan’s Bistro and, most recently, The Zin Room and Deco Hotel.
The concept of Nomad Lounge as an upscale nightclub and creative event venue will remain the same. Patrons can still expect the option of bottle service in cabanas or drinks at the bar. Some old Nomad Lounge traditions may also be brought back, such as destination theme parties and the resurrection of the VIP Card. Nomad will also return to its original hours of operation of Tuesday-Saturday from 3 p.m. – 2 a.m.
The new team is also throwing in a few new ideas to create a more casual vibe inside the dramatic night spot that they hope will bring in an earlier crowd. Those ideas include Happy Hour specials with TV projection, an enlarged dance floor with expanded music selection and an all-new food menu that includes both appetizers and entrees.
