Nebraska Enterprise Fund (NEF, www.nebbiz.org) will be hosting a Credit Building as an Asset Workshop and Loan Program on Tuesday, May 23 from 5 to 7 p.m. at the Nebraska Enterprise Fund, 2112 N 30th St., STE 103, in Omaha.

This program is designed to educate and assist clients in building credit as an asset and learning how to change their mindset about money and credit. Also, to change their status of their credit score through certified credit counseling at no charge. This program assists you in working with creditors to pay off accounts or set up payments with past due and collection accounts. As part of building credit, the loan program is an installment loan designed to help build your credit so it’s an asset. It allows clients to begin building a better credit score while clearing up the past due and collection accounts.

The Nebraska Enterprise Fund was launched in 1994 to assist in procuring grant and loan funds to meet long-term operational and lending needs. They provide business development services and financing to micro and small businesses across the state.
