Ribstock (www.RibstockBBQ.com)and LagerFest are back but in a new location and time. Join them on July 22 to help celebrate the tenth year of the festival. The event will be held at The Granary in Ralston from 4-11 p.m.
Come meet several Husker athletes as well as a planned visit by Tom Osborne himself! Local celebrities and comedians will add to the fun, including Sports Cast Legend Dave Webber.
This event is a fundraising opportunity to benefit the following nonprofits:
- TeamMates Mentoring: A mentoring program founded in 1991 with the vision of University of Nebraska Head Football Coach Tom Osborne and his wife Nancy.
- Project Wee Care: A charitable organization run by volunteers to benefit those in need in the Millard community. The organization provides food, warm clothing, school supplies and Christmas gifts.
- Western Douglas County Food Basket: This organization provides 500 food baskets to 350 families in Douglas County and surrounding areas during the holiday season.
