Midlands Community Foundation is pleased to announce that proceeds from the organization’s 30th Annual Reflection Ball on Jan. 7, 2012, will benefit Mosaic, a nonprofit organization serving people with intellectual disabilities, providing opportunities for them to enjoy a full life.

Midlands Community Foundation’s
annual Reflection Ball plays an integral part in accomplishing the foundation’s mission of enhancing the quality of life for Sarpy and Cass county residents.  Since its inception, the Foundation has awarded gifts totaling millions of dollars to many worthy non-profit organizations, creating a lasting impact on the communities it serves.

Mosaic provides a life of possibilities for people with intellectual disabilities through supports which are tailored to the individual’s needs and desires.  They support people to define their own happiness by asking people how they like to spend their day, what they love to do in their spare time, where they want to live and goals they would like to achieve.

The mission of Midlands Community Foundation is to benefit the diverse needs of the Sarpy and Cass county communities by providing financial support, involvement and service.  For more information about the Midlands Community Foundation, please contact Tonee Gay at (402) 991-8027 or visit their website at www.midlandscommunity.org.
