Mia Taylor Foundation Embarks on Educational Environmental Sustainability Journey

The Mia Taylor Foundation (www.themiataylorfoundation.com) was recently founded in 2021 as a registered nonprofit organization that raises money to fund scholarships, experiential learning opportunities for students, and provide education relating to environmental sustainability. The Mia Taylor Foundation was started by Shane Taylor following the tragic death of his daughter, who was a pre-med student at the College of Saint Mary, minoring in environmental sustainability.

The Foundation’s commitment to the world begins with education, as a belief that there is a fundamental link between human health and the health of our planet. They seek to overcome barriers and criticism of environmental stability initiatives in attempt to bring people together for the common good of a healthy planet for generations to come. They are working towards advanced educational opportunities that will provide Nebraska businesses, companies, and corporations the opportunity to hire and employ graduates who can assist with improving their environmental footprint. Aside from working to improve our environment, The Mia Taylor Foundation is also committed to helping those in need, which include adopting a senior in need during the holidays campaign, as well as helping to place books in the hands and homes of children from low-income and impoverished families.

The Mia Taylor Foundation looks forward to continue building upon the legacy that Mia Taylor left behind by continuing her dedication, devotion, and passion to the environment and nature conservation.
