The month of May is a time of celebration and recognition for many individuals who dedicate themselves to their healthcare profession. The dates fall around Florence Nightingale’s birthday – May 12 and take place this year from May 7 to 13. Please join Methodist Jennie Edmundson Hospital (MJEH) in shining a spotlight on their hospital and healthcare workers who go above and beyond in saving lives every day.
Methodist Jennie Edmundson Hospital wants to thank all of their employees, staff, physicians and volunteers who make the hospital one of the best care facilities in the area and to express their appreciation for all they do, every day, in providing patients and family members with exceptional care.
The hospital prides itself on its reputations of caring, quality of care, expertise and the compassion shown to all. As far back as the late 1800’s a group of women banded together to live their faith and help people less fortunate by showing compassion for helping and healing. These ladies were their founders and later incorporated into the Women’s Christian Association (WCA). Their mission continues to be part of the Methodist Jennie Edmundson Hospital’s mission today.
As MJEH prepares for all of the new challenges and new innovations in healthcare, they will continue to be at the forefront to provide the “best care” for our community and SW Iowa.
