For the past 20 years Merrymakers has held its Annual Roast. This year, in celebration of their silver anniversary, they will honor Mr. John P. Nelson, President, SilverStone Group. The 21st annual fundraising event will be held on November 10, 2011, 6-10 p.m. at the Qwest Center.
Merrymakers partners with skilled care centers, assisted living facilities, subsidized senior housing, memory care facilities, and senior centers, each receiving a monthly visit at no cost. Hands clap, toes tap, and sleepy eyes twinkle. Residents enjoy an opportunity to move to music that sparks a happy memory.
