Kids Can, American National Bank Present 2022 Can Do Awards Celebration May 5
Kids Can Community Center (KidsCan.org) invites the community to join their Can Do Awards Celebration presented by American National Bank. The luncheon will be held on Thursday, May 5, from 11:30 a.m. – 1 p.m. at the Omaha Downtown Marriott in the Capitol District. The event honors individuals and organizations in recognition of their contributions to our community. This year, eight Can Do awards will be given out: Future, Junior, Hope, Growth Mindset, Provider, Entrepreneur, Volunteer, and Educator.
“We are so excited to celebrate so many outstanding individuals at this year’s event,” said Robert Patterson, Kids Can CEO. “Their can do spirit is an inspiration for all of us and the remarkable work they do every day.”
Tickets and sponsorships for the event are now available on the Kids Can website at KidsCan.org. Even if you cannot attend, there are options to purchase sponsorships or make individual donations to their cause.
The mission of Kids Can Community Center is to educate, engage, and inspire children through early childhood education and quality out-of-school experiences. Founded in 1908 as the Social Settlement Association, the nonprofit organization has evolved over the last century to meet the constantly changing needs of children and families in the community.
