Huffman Engineering, Inc. (HEI, www.huffmaneng.com) has announced that Brady Darrough has been promoted to Engineer 2. Darrough joined the team after graduating from UNL with a mechanical engineering degree and immediately went to work helping the Huffman Engineering team from the City of Omaha assist with the recovery effort of water systems after the 2019 floods. In addition to his work with the City of Omaha, he is also instrumental on projects for Mid American Energy, the City of Council Bluffs, Endicott, and Essentia Proteins. Darrough is an EcoStruxure Control Expert (Schneider PLC Programming), certified in Ignition SCADA Programming, and was the technical lead for the City of Waverly Water and Wastewater Control Systems upgrade.

According to Don Glatt, Huffman’s Utilities Manager, Darrough is, “the swiss army knife to the utilities team,” bringing a wealth of tools, knowledge, skill, and work ethic to every project he is on. As many experts in this industry get set to retire, HEI is proud to have several of the best minds in utilities today working at their company, and Brady is among those who top the list.
