Heartland Women’s Network Selects RMHC Omaha as Nonprofit Partner of the Year
Each year, Heartland Women’s Network (HWN, www.heartlandwomensnetwork.com) selects a nonprofit organization to support both financially and through volunteer opportunities for members, and they are pleased to announce that they have chosen Ronald McDonald House Charities (RMHC) in Omaha as its nonprofit partner for 2022. Emily Mozer, director of corporate social responsibility for RMHC Omaha, will be the guest speaker at HWN’s April 19 luncheon.
RMHC Omaha serves families with kids who have been diagnosed with medical issues that are sometimes rare, sometimes chronic, and sometimes both. Often, they are hundreds of miles from home. The house has 40 guest rooms, offers a welcoming place to stay, and provides families with a sense normalcy. Laundry facilities, meals, help with schoolwork, places to hang out and watch movies or play games, and assistance with managing finances are among the services offered.
Heartland Women’s Network provides the structure for women from all walks of life to grow professionally and personally. Monthly events feature engaging speakers on topics of interest to members, along with networking opportunities. Luncheons include time for networking and are open to non-members. To register for the April event, learn more about the organization, and/or find out how to become a member, go to www.heartlandwomensnetwork.com or connect with Heartland Women’s Network on social media.
