UnitedHealthcare Community Plan of Nebraska Earns Highest Overall Rating in Nebraska for NCQA’s Medicaid Health Insurance Plan Ratings 2015–16

UnitedHealthcare Community Plan of Nebraska received an overall rating of 4 out of 5 stars in NCQA’s Medicaid Health Insurance Plan Ratings 2015–2016, making it the only Medicaid plan in Nebraska to reach a four-star performance level and the highest rating among all Medicaid plans in the state.

The National Committee for Quality Assurance (www.ncqa.org) releases ratings annually for Medicaid, Medicare and Commercial health plans, measuring specific treatments, preventive care services and consumer satisfaction. Health plans voluntarily choose to participate in NCQA’s yearly ratings and publicly share their data, underscoring their strong commitment to transparency and open dialogue about health plan performance and improvement.

UnitedHealthcare Community Plan of Nebraska is for children, families, pregnant women and adults who meet income requirements. Members can choose their own doctor for covered services, including preventive checkups, vaccinations, eye and hearing exams, lab tests and X-rays, and hospital stays. The plan also pays for services like additional transportation to and from approved health-related activities.
