The Nebraska Hospital Association Host Spring Showcase April 18

The Nebraska Hospital Association (www.nebraskahospitals.org) will host the 2019 Spring Showcase on April 18, from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. It will take place at the Younes Coference Center in Kearney. Though this is a free educational and networking opportunity, registration is required.

Several NGA Services Partners will be attending to speak with hospital professionals one-on-one about potential new technologies and hospital service lines. These service lines include practical “day to day” aspects of running a hospital, as well as financial assistance and programs to assists patients. Some service lines focus on improving human resources and financial services, as well as IT services, energy usage, waste disposal, and data management. Services will also be available to develop physical therapy and speech pathology services to assist patients with physical and verbal difficulties.

The invitation is extended to staff from all NHA member hospitals and will include a breakfast, following by a discussion of how to build business relationships by Debra Fine of the National Speakers Association. Amy Williams, head coach for the Nebraska Huskers women’s basketball team, will be the special guest speaker for the networking lunch, and Dr. Bill Withers will deliver two presentations, the first entitled Our Permanent Whitewater World, and a second on the topic of servant leadership. While the event is free of charge for all employees of NHA member hospitals, registration is required.
