The Ridgewood Active Retirement Community recently featured a special viewing of the HBO Mini Series, “The Alzheimer’s Project” The Memory Tapes at their January Alzheimer’s & Dementia Caregiver Support Group meeting.  “The Alzheimer’s Project” is a four-part mini-series that follows families, caregivers, physicians and loved ones of persons with dementia. Members of the support group viewed the section of the mini series titled, The Memory Tapes, and participated in a questions and discussion section afterwards.  Ridgewood Active Retirement Community holds this caregiver support group meeting on the last Thursday of each month at 6:00 pm in the clubhouse of the community. The public is invited to attend future meetings and there is no need to RSVP if you wish to attend.
