Online Bachelor’s Degree in Gerontology Now Available through NU Online
The University of Nebraska at Omaha (UNO) is now accepting applicants for the fully online Bachelor of Science in Gerontology with a concentration in administration. The 120-credit-hour program uses a multidisciplinary approach to find solutions to issues related to the world’s aging population. Topics include independence, health changes, and programs and services for aging adults. Students also have the opportunity to gain real-world experience through practicum placements.
The demand for qualified professionals continues to grow with the growing population of citizens 65 and over. Career opportunities are numerous and varied and the degree offers students tailored coursework that compliments several industries.
