NESC to Offer Drug Impairment and Workplace Violence Solutions Trainings
Nebraska Safety Council (NESC; nesafetycouncil.org) is offering trainings that will discuss recognizing drug impairment and solutions for workplace violence in November. Substance abusers are five times more likely than non-abusers to injure themselves or others in the workplace, among other risks. Don’t let this threat impact your business. Know how to identify these individuals before the damage is done by attending the Recognizing Drug Impairment training. The training will take place on Monday, November 8, from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. The training can be attended either in-person or online.
Communication break downs cause stress and conflict not only in your work life, but also in your personal life. Diffusing the Ticking Time Bomb: Workplace Violence Solutions is a training available for people and organizations who want to learn life-changing skills to prevent potential conflicts from accelerating out of control. This training will be available Tuesday, November 23, from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., and can be attended either in-person or online.
