Alegent Creighton Health has recently announced that physician, Dr Cliff Robertson, will head the new network which is a partnership formed by the integration of Alegent Creighton and Catholic Health Initiatives (CHI) of Nebraska, as Senior Vice President and Market CEO, starting in February.  Dr. Robertson is a native Texan who earned his Bachelor of Arts from the University of Colorado at Boulder and his Doctorate of Medicine from Ohio State College of Medicine.  He completed both his residency and internship in family practice at Madigan Army Medical Center in Tahoma, and received his Masters of Business Administration from Pacific Lutheran University.  Dr. Robertson comes to Nebraska from his current position as Chief Operating Officer of Franciscan Health Systems in Tacoma.  The current CEO of Alegent Creighton Health, Rick Hatchen, and Robert Lanik, the CEO of Catholic Health Initiatives Nebraska, have announced plans to retire.  Dr. Robertson’s job will replace those two positions.

Alegent Creighton Health recently combined its operation with Catholic Health Initiatives of Nebraska to form a regional Network, and plan to announce its new name sometime after the first of the year.  The Network will have 16 hospitals and two inpatient behavioral health facilities.  This includes hospitals in the Omaha metro area, Lincoln, Grand Island, Kearney, Schuyler, Plainview, and in western Iowa.  For more information about Alegent Creighton Health, please visit www.alegentcreighton.com.
