The Nebraska Chapter of the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation recently hosted the Links to a Cure Dinner Gala & Golf Benefit at the Hilton in Downtown Omaha and Quarry Oaks Golf Course.

The dinner gala featured a cocktail reception, as well as a social hour and silent auction complete with over 100 unique items. The banquet featured an exciting live auction and an impressive round table of UNL Football Coaches led by Husker Defensive Coordinator, John Papuchis, and was moderated by Matt Schick of ESPN.  The following day participants enjoyed exceptional golf, celebrity playing partners and a Nike Player’s package when they hit the links at Quarry Oaks Golf Course along with food, beverages and a lively atmosphere provided by Bonefish Grill and Tailgating Envy.

The Cystic Fibrosis Foundation is the world’s leader in the search for a cure for cystic fibrosis. The Foundation funds more CF research than any other organization, and nearly every CF drug available today was made possible because of Foundation support. Based in Bethesda, MD, the Foundation also supports and accredits a national care center network that has been recognized by the National Institutes of Health as a model of care for a chronic disease.
