Community Health Charities of Nebraska to Change Name, Launch Rebrand Campaign

Effective July 1, Community Health Charities of Nebraska (www.chcne.org) will change its name back to its original name, CHAD (Combined Health Agencies Drive). The organization has operated as Community Health Charities of Nebraska since 2005.

Since 1972, the organization has raised funds for Nebraska’s premier health charities, distributing more than $56 million since its inception to its local members to make sure all Nebraskans affected by health issues have access to the resources and support they need. As CHAD, the organization will continue to fundraise for its existing 22 member charities in workplace giving campaigns across the state, raising dollars to support its members’ missions. In Lancaster, Douglas, Sarpy, and Pottawattamie Counties, the organization has contracts with United Way, but it operates independently in Greater Nebraska.

Community Health Charities of Nebraska worked with Pat Buffum and Dean Vavak of PB&J Designs on an updated and modern look for its CHAD logo through PB&J’s non-profit assistance program. Learn more online at www.chcne.org, or call (402) 614-8500 (state office).
