Community 360° is pleased to present their holiday event, Christmas In Our Hearts, which will be held on Thursday, December 5 from 1:30 p.m. until 3 p.m. at the Kroc Center, located at 2825 Y Street in Omaha. Over 300 people living in nursing homes from the Omaha/Council Bluffs area will have the opportunity to attend this free event which provides an opportunity to celebrate the Holidays. There will be storytelling, singing and music for everyone to hear and enjoy. Additionally, Santa and Mrs. Claus will be in attendance for photos with the residents. Nursing homes from as far as 100 miles away drive in to help celebrate the holidays with the people from their nursing home. Community 360° recruits, trains and places volunteers to be companions to people living in nursing homes. Fifty percent or more of the people living in nursing homes never receive visitors, and they help fill that void.
