American Heart Association Announces Virtual 2021 Omaha Heart & Stroke Ball
The American Heart Association (AHA, heart.org/OmahaHeartBall), the world’s leading nonprofit organization focused on heart and brain health for all, is pleased to bring the 2021 Interactive Digital Heart Ball experience to Omaha on Thursday, February 18. The event starts at 6:30 p.m. with a virtual happy hour and is followed by the program which includes speakers, an auction, and entertainment.
Emceed by KMTV 3 News Now’s Jennifer Griswold and chaired by Theresa and Dr. Jeff Carstens of CHI Health, the two-hour event will feature this year’s Heart Princess (courtesy of signature sponsor, Children’s Hospital & Medical Center) and a chance to recognize locals who are making a difference for AHA’s mission.
This year’s American Heart Association annual Heart Ball goes virtual as the safety of sponsors, donors, and all involved remains at the forefront due to COVID-19 concerns and mandates. The Heart Ball is one of the AHA’s main fundraising programs that campaigns year-round. To hear from survivors, honor award recipients, participate in the auction, and learn how you can help further the life-saving mission to be a relentless force for a world of longer, healthier lives, go online to heart.org/OmahaHeartBall to register for this event.
