The Greater Omaha Chamber’s (www.omahachamber.org) Omaha Business Hall of Fame is now accepting nominations for 2023. The Chamber annually inducts civic and business leaders whose accomplishments are both outstanding and historically significant. Nominations are due Friday, December 30.
The purpose of nominations preserves individual business achievements in Greater Omaha’s history through the Omaha Business Hall of Fame. It gives residents the chance to recognize individuals who have contributed to the business history of the Greater Omaha area in some significant manner.
No set number of inductees will be selected in any year. Professionals from any businesses who have made an outstanding contribution to the free enterprise system will be considered. The selection committee seeks individuals representing ethnic diversity who have demonstrated exceptional business leadership. They may or may not currently hold the position in which they achieved success, but must have resided in the Greater Omaha area during their contribution to the community.
The Greater Omaha Chamber initiated the Omaha Business Hall of Fame in 1993. Individual inductee achievements are showcased in the permanent Omaha Business Hall of Fame display at The Durham Museum.
