Great Western Bank is pleased to announce that Gary Grote has been hired as the new Omaha Group President. As Group President, Mr. Grote will oversee operations in 23 branches in the greater Omaha area.
Mr. Grote holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from the University of Nebraska, Lincoln, majoring in Finance and Economics. He has over 18 years of experience in the financial industry. Mr. Grote previously held the position of Executive Vice President of Commercial Banking with Omaha State Bank. He has held positions at First National Bank and American National Bank in Omaha.
Mr. Grote volunteers his time as a member of the Nebraska Bankers Association, sits on the board of The Cox Classic Presented by Lexus of Omaha, serves on the board of the Rose Theatre and is an instructor at Advanced Schools of Banking.
