Jared McMullen was recently promoted to building information modeling (BIM) and computer-aided design (CAD) manager at Farris Engineering (www.farris-usa.com), a leader in quality engineering services. Jared joined Farris Engineering in 2000 at their Colorado Springs, CO office. As a mechanical designer, his work has focused on designing HVAC and piping systems for military, educational, and commercial facilities.

“We are excited to have Jared transition to the role of BIM/CAD manager,” said Farris President and CEO Michael Wallace. “He brings a thorough background of design experience and is eager to provide training and project support to all five of our locations.”

As BIM/CAD manager, Jared will provide project support through design software training, design software management, BIM content creation, and assist with project set-up. He has an associate degree in architectural drafting and architectural CAD/CADD from IntelliTec College in Colorado Springs and is a member of the American Society of Heating, Refrigerating and Air Conditioning Engineers (ASHRAE).
