FAMILY, Inc. (www.familyia.org.) welcomes Dawn Landon as new board president. Dawn has been with Family, Inc. for seven years serving as board treasurer as well as sitting on several committees. She is excited to take on her new role as board president and is looking forward to all the exciting changes and growth yet to come. She believes the programs and services are so valuable to the community and serve the needs of families and children all over Southwest Iowa.

Dawn Landon is a practicing attorney at Sell Law, Glenwood, Iowa, and is also the deputy county attorney in Mills County, Iowa. She graduated from Wartburg College in 1999 and went on to graduate from Creighton Law in 2002. She began her career as an assistant county attorney for Pottawattamie County Iowa, primarily focusing on juvenile law. She worked there for 17 years and found FAMILY Inc. to be a place she could help families outside of the office.

“Dawn has been an amazing advocate for children and families in southwest Iowa for over two decades. Through her work she has made a positive impact on the lives of so many and her service here at FAMILY, Inc. is no different,” states Kimberly Kolakowski, executive director. “Our organization is better off because of Dawn’s leadership and we are very excited to welcome her into this new role!”
