B & K’s ExSeptional Ones Academy is seeking early childhood educators to join their growing center and help meet demands of their growing business. Candidates should be passionate about providing young children with the skills and socialization they need to succeed.
In this role, you will develop educational lessons and oversee activities that encompass all academic and social emotional needs as well as have tons of fun while doing them. While they prefer candidates with some education in early childhood development or a CDA credential, they understand that there are amazing teachers out there that just need a chance. They assist with professional development and are happy to assist you as needed.
The duties will include supervising children and knowing your ratios, developing age-appropriate lessons and activities, communicating with parents about progress while notifying the director and parents about potential issues, and maintaining a safe and clean environment.
Requirements and qualifications are a high school diploma or GED certificate, an associate degree in childhood development or some postsecondary education preferred, CDA credentials are a plus, and experience working with young children or as an assistant teacher. You must be able to pass a federal background check, and have your first aid/CPR certification within first 30 days after hire.
