Each year, the JE Foundation hosts the Spirit of Courage Celebrity Weekend to celebrate and honor four individuals who join them and share their stories of courage during their battles with cancer. This year, the JE Foundation is excited to announce four amazing individuals who will be recognized at their 2022 event: Donna Elliff, Deb Potter, Jake Powers, and Kevin Rutland. They will also recognize and honor all of their past recipients as they celebrate their 20th Anniversary.
As the JE Foundation raises funds for the Methodist Jennie Edmundson Hospital Spirit of Courage Cancer Charitable Patient Care Fund, they reflect back on the number of patients and families they have been able to help and support over the past 20 years. The funds raised have allowed their patients to continue their treatments they may have otherwise stopped due to limited or no insurance. Through the generosity and support of donors, the Cancer Charitable Patient Care Fund is available to assist these patients by paying for medications, treatments, and deductibles as well as everyday living expenses such as groceries, rent, and gas.
