CountryHouse Residence for Memory Care to Host Author Jolene Brackey June 28
CountryHouse Residence for Memory Care (countryhouse.net) is hosting a Zoom event featuring author Jolene Brackey on Thursday, June 28. The event, held from 6 to 7 p.m., is geared especially to caregivers of those with dementia.
Brackey is the author of Creating Moments of Joy, a book that offers heartwarming and inspirational solutions for anyone who has been touched by the Alzheimer’s journey. Her vision is to change the way people see and interact with those who have Alzheimer’s disease and other types of dementia. Following a short presentation, Brackey will answer questions posed by event attendees.
The concept of creating moments of joy has been woven into CountryHouse’s overall care philosophy. Caregivers at
CountryHouse are encouraged to look for opportunities to create joy for residents in their care each day. CountryHouse believes that those who live with memory loss can have amazingly full lives with expert support and care.
Spaces for the online event are limited. Those interested in attending should RSVP to Natasha Kirk by calling (531) 999-2747 or emailing nkirk@countryhouse.net. Attendees will receive a free copy of Brackey’s book.
