City Sprouts (www.omahasprouts.org) is excited to host the 9th annual Seed Share on Saturday, February 11 from noon to 4 p.m. at the South Omaha Library, 2808 Q St. In the event of inclement weather, the postponement date is Saturday, February 18.

The annual Seed Share is an event to promote and encourage Omaha-area residents to grow local food and, of course, share seeds.

The Seed Share is free, open to the public, and no purchases are necessary. Refreshments will be provided. There will be an assortment of seeds including locally-saved seeds, and folks are encouraged to share any seeds in appropriately packaged and labeled seed pouches.

Any questions may be directed to City Sprouts Communications and Development Manager Emily Ramelb at emily@omahasprouts.org.
