CenterPointe Renovations at Former Trabert Hall Uncover 93-Year-Old Time Capsule
CenterPointe (www.centerpointe.org) is thrilled to be renovating the former Trabert Hall to expand their services to the community, but a recent discovery just made the construction process even more exciting! A time capsule dating back 93 years was recently uncovered within the cornerstone of the building. It was filled with various items, including newspapers printed in the year 1928, buttons and pins, and a metal crucifix. The historic items have been returned to the Catholic Diocese of Lincoln, the building’s original owners.
The new CenterPointe facility, located at 2202 S 11th St., is being renovated to offer housing, primary care, mental health services, substance use disorder services, and pharmacy services. Construction is anticipated to be finished in the summer of 2022.
