On April 23rd, over 95 members of the Western Douglas County Chamber of Commerce attended a special luncheon featuring winners of $7,000 in scholarships. These scholarships were awarded to local high school seniors from Bennington, Elkhorn, D.C. West and Mt. Michael Benedictine. The lunch was catered by Heartland Cafe and Catering and was sponsored by Metro Community College, Compass Benefit Advisors, Elkhorn Public Schools Foundation, Brookestone Meadows, Midland University, Total Marketing, Bellevue University, Leonum Advisors, and ESU #3.
