The Western Douglas County Chamber of Commerce (WDCCC) helped with a Grand Opening and Ribbon Cutting ceremony at Esprit Whispering Ridge, Omaha’s newest assisted living and memory care community, in April. Esprit Whispering Ridge opened their doors in January of this year near 175th & West Maple Road. They are owned by the Hegg Corporation and managed by Ecumen, the third largest non-profit provider of senior housing in the United States. Their facility is composed of 48 private suites offering the best possible memory care for those living with Alzheimer’s, plus 42 Assisted Living apartments complete with kitchen, emergency response system and most with full-sized washer and dryers.
