Walker Tire & Auto Service of Omaha is proud to announce the opening of the Walker Tire Car Care Center, the newest permanent exhibit in the Omaha Children’s Museum. As children step into the exhibit, they will enter a whole new world of pretend from changing tires using realistic tools to seeing what the underside of the vehicle looks like–and will even get to do this on a creeper modeled after equipment that real technicians use. Children will also be able to check fluids under the hood, change the air filter, perform diagnostic checks, and schedule appointments at the service desk all while dressing the part in work gear and learning interesting information about tires and tread. The Walker Tire & Auto Service Car Care Center encourages developmentally-rich pretend play that helps children enhance fine and gross motor skills.
