U.S. Manpower Employment Outlook Survey Results Released
Results of the U.S. Manpower Employment Survey (www.manpower.us/meos) are in, showing steady hiring for the 4th quarter of 2016.
The U.S. Manpower Employment Survey is one of the most trusted surveys of employment activity in the world. Every quarter, more than 11,000 U.S. hiring managers are asked about their hiring plans for the next three months. The results identify the strongest and weakest metropolitan areas, states and industries for hiring and pursuing jobs.
Hiring plans nationwide have improved by three percentage points compared to the previous quarter, with all 13 industry sectors planning to increase their payrolls.
Q4 2016 = Increase staff levels 22% , Decrease Staff levels 6%, Maintain Staff levels 69%
Q3 2016 = Increase staff levels 23%, Decrease Staff levels 5%, Maintain Staff levels 71%
Q4 2015 = Increase staff levels 21%, Decrease Staff levels 6%, Maintain Staff levels 71%
In the Midwest, the outlook remains relatively stable.
