Toastmasters District 24 Annual Conference Speakers are Kinsey, Campbell, and Osborne

On April 23-24, Toastmasters District 24 (d24tm.org) is hosting their 2021 Sailing to Success Annual Virtual Conference, with keynote speakers including Toastmasters International Vice President Matt Kinsey, accredited speaker Johnny Campbell, and Nebraska’s own legendary Dr. Tom Osborne! Registration for the virtual program is only $25 and includes a copy of Johnny Campbell’s book, The Agent of Change, and an audio file of his The Power of Resiliency presentation.

Beginning at 6 p.m. on April 23, Keynote speakers have a treasure trove of powerful presentations on tap for you. When you learned to ride a bicycle, for example, did you realize you were learning real-world skills? Kinsey will give you the inside scoop on how these two things are connected. Osborne will accept the District 24 Communication and Leadership award and address the conference on the topic of leadership. Then you can relax and play online games hosted by “Not So Bland” Toastmasters Club. Return at noon on Saturday, April 24 for the business meeting and officer election, followed by Campbell, who will share his secrets to translating “Change” from a dreaded word to a strength. After breakout sessions, he will return to explain how to craft a winning presentation, and Kinsey will provide a motivational presentation about crafting a journey of success. The conference will wrap up with a showcase of some of the hidden talents of Toastmasters District 24 members.
