Toast Nebraska to Celebrate 3rd Annual Wine Festival

The 3rd annual Toast Nebraska Wine Festival, highlighting wines from 22 Nebraska wineries from around the state, will once again be held at Eugene T. Mahoney State (SP) Park May 6-7, 2016.

Guests are invited to sample wines and NEW this year, hard ciders, while also enjoying live music, food and conversation against the beautiful backdrop of Mahoney SP. The weekend will also include a live entertainment line-up, unique food pairings, artisan vendors, wine education sessions and trolley tours through the park.  Also NEW this year, transportation options to and from the festival from nearby cities and Uber as an option on-site.

Participating wineries include: Big Cottonwood Vineyards and Winery, Broken Arrow Cellars, Cedar Hills Vineyard, Cellar 426 Wines & Vines, Deer Springs Winery, Feather River Vineyards, Glacial Till Vineyard, James Arthur Vineyards, Junto Wine, Kimmel Orchard and Vineyard, Mac’s Creek Winery & Vineyards, Miletta Vista Winery, Moonstruck Meadery, Niobrara Valley Vineyards, Nissen Wines, Prairie Creek Vineyards, Schilling Bridge Winery, Silver Hills Vineyards and Winery, Soaring Wings Vineyard, Superior Estates Winery, Whiskey Run Creek Vineyards and Winery, and WunderRosa Winery.

Tickets are $25, $40 or $60; the $40 and $60 tickets include commemorative items and unlimited wine and cider samplings.  A limited number of cabins, lodge rooms and camp sights are also being held at the park for guests of the festival.  Tickets and more information is available at toastnebraska.com.  For lodging, call (402) 882-2448.
