The instructors and students of Tiger Rock Academies of Lincoln and Omaha recently traveled to Kansas City to join over 500 martial arts competitors and over 2500 spectators at the 2012 Fall Tiger Rock National Tournament.  This is one of ten nationals that occur around the nations and serve as qualifiers and preliminaries for some of the events for the World Championships.  Competition included board breaking, sparring, team sparring, traditional and free style forms and a timed agility course.  Competitors ranged in age from just four years old to over 60 and traveled from Nebraska, Iowa, Missouri, South Dakota, Minnesota and Colorado.  Tiger Rock competitions challenge students to take their skills to the next level while supporting their fellow competitors in a very positive event.  Even the tiniest of competitors competing in the Tiger Cubs division demonstrated courage and self-confidence stepping up in front of the judges and spectators to show off their skills.

Congratulations to all of Tiger Rock Academy students on a great competition and testing and for representing Nebraska!
