The Empowerment Network (empoweromaha.com) will be hosting their 14th Annual Christmas in the Village from 12 to 5 p.m. on December 7 at 24th and Lake. This community celebration and holiday tradition will take place between 24th and Burdette to 24th and Ohio St.

This is an opportunity to bring the entire family down to enjoy the holiday festivities at the Christmas in the Village Holiday Boutique, Holiday Market at The Union, restaurants and arts institutions. There will be free goodie bags (while they last), Santa/Mrs. Claus, face painting, free carriage rides, live outdoor music, nativity animals, Cartoon Characters, Balloon Twister, Raku Firing, food for purchase and more!

Christmas in the Village is presented by the Empowerment Network and the Omaha Economic Development Corporation (OEDC) in partnership with 50+ businesses and organizations. It is sponsored by American National Bank, Douglas County Visitor Improvement Fund, Nebraska Arts Council, Nebraska Cultural Endowment, North Omaha Turnback Tax, Revive and Veridian Credit Union.

The Empowerment Network’s Annual Christmas in the Village wouldn’t be possible without the partnership of many community organizations and businesses, as well as volunteers.
