Continuing in the tradition of providing interactive, educational and fun exhibits, the Strategic Air & Space Museum has designed and implemented a program entitled “60 Days of Science” which is a celebration of non-stop learning and fun for all ages.  This event offers age appropriate workshops and programs along with intergenerational learning and exploring opportunities. On April 5-6 and 12-13 from 11:30 a.m. and 1:30 p.m. a special engineering presentation will feature High Powered Rocketry.  This will include air rockets, a paper bridge challenge and a pasta tower contest.  On April 19-20 and 26-27 at 11:30 a.m. and 1:30 p.m. the presentation will be on Infrared Photography.  This will include invisible ink, making a magnetogram and liquid crystal sheets/hand boilers.  Additionally, the April Science Zone hours will be from 10 a.m. until noon and from 1-4 p.m. and will include a diffusion activity, popsicle stick catapult, gumdrop atoms, and a paper airplane catapult!

The museum is open 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. seven days a week.  Admission rates are $12 for adults, $6 for kids 4 to 12 years old, 3 and under are free.
