The Strategic Air & Space Museum is pleased to announce new workshops that will take place in December.
The Science of Toys workshop is included with the price of admission and free to their members December 26 – 29. This is a two hour workshop offered at 11:30 am and again at 2:00 pm. This is an opportunity to take toys apart and discover what makes them work without getting into trouble. Learning about electronics, sound, magnetism, stored energy and chemistry has never been this much fun!
Participants in this workshop will get the opportunity to make their own bouncing ball and take it home with them.
Robot Junkyard Wars will be offered December 28 and 29 and is geared toward high schoolers looking for advanced robotics content. The workshop will be offered both days from 10:30 am to 4:30 pm with the following schedule: 10:30-11:00 Rocketry presentation, 11:00-4:00 pm Junkyard Wars workshop with lunch and 4:00-4:30 pm Robotics presentation. Price is $25 for members and non-members are $35.
