Strategic Air Command and Aerospace Museum to Hold Spring Fling
On April 20, the Strategic Air Command and Aerospace Museum (www.SACMuseum.org) will hold a “Spring Fling,” an event that will prove to be fun for the entire family. The Spring Fling begins at 10 a.m. with an egg hunt in the front grassy area of the museum for youth ages ten and under. The hunt will be separated into multiple age groups. The museum will offer hands-on activities indoors until noon. Activities include a picture with the Easter Bunny, face painting, coloring contest raffle, decorating Eater cookies, and kite making.
There will be an Easter basket given to one participant in the coloring contest raffle. Each contestant will receive a ticket after completing and hanging his or her picture. The prizewinner, selected by random selection of tickets, will receive a basket at 11:50 a.m.
The outdoor egg hunt is free and general admission applies to those entering the museum. The Spring Fling event, Children’s Learning Center activities, and Robot Zoo exhibit are included with general admission. General admission is $12 adults, $11 military and seniors, $6 youth three to 12, and free for youth under age three.
