Strategic Air Command & Aerospace Museum Announces Upcoming Events

The Strategic Air Command & Aerospace Museum (sacmuseum.org) has a couple of fun events lined up in the next couple of months. As a part of their commitment to learning and exploration, the Museum is excited to present the following upcoming event opportunity:

  • Patriot Day — Friday, September 11, 11:30 a.m. – 1 p.m. The Strategic Air Command & Aerospace Museum salutes America and honors the fallen victims of the September 11, 2001 attacks and the heroes who have fought our nation’s battles throughout the years. The program honors active military and first responders with free admission to the event. This program includes a guest speaker and begins at 11:30 a.m. with the presentation ending at 1 p.m. The program is included with general admission. All day first responders and active, retired, and veteran service members receive free admission into the Museum.

The Strategic Air Command & Aerospace Museum, located at 28210 West Park Hwy in Ashland (exit 426 off I-80 between Omaha and Lincoln), is a Smithsonian Affiliate. Public tours of the Museum are given daily. They begin at 11 a.m. and are conducted by a volunteer staff member. Private tours are also available when booking in advance. The Museum is open 9 a.m. – 5 p.m., seven days a week. Admission costs are $13 for adults, $11 for senior citizens and active/retired/veteran military, $6 for children (ages 4–12), and free for children under the age of three. COVID restrictions are in place for the safety of staff and visitors.
