Spirit World, Omaha’s original wine, beer, and spirits store and gourmet café, will move from its current location at 75th and Pacific to the former Wohlner’s in Aksarben Village on October 15, according to owner Laurie Wolford.  The former Wohlner’s location will undergo an extensive renovation, which will increase Spirit World’s size from 7,200 to 8,500 square feet. Added during the renovations will be a sampling bar, a private tasting room, and a pick-up zone in the back of the store where customers can drive up and have store employees load purchases into their vehicles. The café menu, which offers unique fare made fresh, and the wide selection of wines, beers, and spirits, will remain, Wolford explained.  “It is our mission to share our passions for great wine, beer, spirits and food in a way that is engaging and educational. We look forward to continuing a 40-year tradition in a space that provides an even better experience for our customers.”
