An exotic line of Turkish import goods featuring carpets, pottery and textiles will be incorporated into the new store located at 13013 West Center Road in the Montclair on Center shopping plaza.
Silver of Oz will also be adding imported artisan adornments to compliment the handcrafted silver jewelry created by Levent Oz, the store’s owner, and a master silversmith from Istanbul, Turkey. High-end vintage and estate jewelry will also be featured.
Mr. Oz brought his unique designs to Omaha in 2008, when he opened a small store in Benson. The business outgrew its location at 6115 Maple Street and required more space for a larger inventory of merchandise. “We wanted to have the opportunity to bring a more exotic and eclectic range of merchandise to the Omaha market.” said owner Levent Oz in a recent interview. The new space will also feature a larger workshop for jewelry repair and classroom space for silversmithing classes, which are offered on a monthly schedule. Silver of Oz will be re-opening in its new location in July.
