Sergeant’s Pet Care Products, Inc., one of the nation’s oldest and largest manufacturers of pet supplies, officially opened their new corporate headquarters and production facility in Omaha. The company, founded in 1868, celebrated the day with a ribbon cutting ceremony at the new location.
The new corporate facility, purchased in December 2011, gives the company 131,000 square feet of space. This includes corporate offices and a 94,000-square foot production facility. Production at the new facility began in January after relocation and renovation. More than 70 new employees have already joined Sergeant’s and the company reports that it is still actively hiring for a variety of positions.
