Premier Psychiatric Group (Premier), a leader in innovative behavioral healthcare, welcomed Senator Johanns and five members of his staff to their headquarters in Lincoln in May. The Senator was greeted by Premier’s first remote presence telehealth robot (pictured right). Premier’s CEO, Walt Duffy, MD, was honored to have the Senator and his team on-site to learn about the many exciting and pioneering ways Premier is advancing healthcare. The group toured Premier’s state-of-art facility built in 2011 and met with members of Premier’s leadership team. The group also discussed the importance of both behavioral and healthcare services to returning Veterans, improving access to healthcare through the use of telemedicine, and healthcare issues in rural Nebraska.
