In celebration of their official Grand Opening in the Omaha Metro, SeekingSitters is reaching out to raise funds in support of Children’s Hospital & Medical Center.  SeekingSitters is a full service babysitting referral service that helps families find safe, reliable childcare. Annette Shukry is a local mom with two children who runs SeekingSitters. In addition to helping families find the childcare they need, she wants to give back to an organization that also helps children.  To do that, SeekingSitters of Omaha Metro will donate $15 to Children’s for every new member who signs up between now and March 31, 2014. In addition they will donate $1 for every hour billed.

SeekingSitters does all of the work for families:  they find the sitters, screen them, schedule babysitting jobs and provide convenient online payment processing.  The company was founded in 2004 by a mom who is also a licensed private investigator and they have a team of in-house private investigators that screen all sitters.  Every sitter is at least 18 or older, has experience caring for children and is CPR and First Aid certified. There are 100 locations in 27 states and member families can use sitters from any location if they move or are travelling on vacation.
