Sadoff Iron and Metal Company is pleased to announce they held a groundbreaking for their new 13 acre site in the Lincoln Airpark on February 12.  Around 50 people attended the groundbreaking event, including Mayor Beutler, John Sampson, CEO of Sampson Construction, John Wood and his leadership team from the Airpark Authority, team members from the Lincoln Chamber of Commerce, Strictly Business, the Lincoln Business Ambassadors, Deeter Foundry and Sadoff Iron and Metal Company.

Sadoff Iron and Metal Company is a 3rd generation, family owned scrap metal recycling company headquartered in Fond du Lac, Wisconsin.  Sadoff has had a physical location in Lincoln since 1999.  The company’s Nebraska operations have expanded to include the acquisition of Midwest Metals in Omaha in 2012, and now employ 21 between the two locations.

Sadoff Iron and Metal Company has partnered with the Lincoln Airpark Authority to finance a new 13 acre site expansion through Industrial Revenue Bonds, paid back through a long term lease agreement.  Company wide, Sadoff Iron and Metal Company has over 245 employees and eight locations:  Fond du Lac, Oshkosh, Green Bay, Manitowoc, Sheboygan, and Berlin, Wisconsin; and Lincoln and Omaha, Nebraska.
